Kindergarten through 6th grade, Elk Grove Unified, with a Gifted & Talented program alongside the regular track and a genuinely full slate of extras — volleyball and track teams, art and drama, a knitting club, student leadership. Middle & high
Katherine L. Albiani Middle School — about 1,450 students, Gifted & Talented plus AVID college-prep support, an 8/10 on GreatSchools — feeds into Pleasant Grove High, which carries the highest API score in Elk Grove Unified and a 9/10 rating. Pleasant Grove runs a 54% AP participation rate and four career academies — Biomedical, engineering (IDEA), Agriculture/FFA, and Digital Media — on top of the standard college-prep track.
